I have to tell you that very few factories include this cool clip on the inside of their carpet cleaning or auto detail extractor, BUT THEY SHOULD. The #1 reason for pump failure is heat. Some customers are located in southern states, use their transfer pump inside hot service trucks, or run their carpet cleaning machine for many hours at a time (aggressive users.) Further more, if you pump ever needed to be replaced, please make sure that you have a cooling fan exchanging air out from under the hood of your extractor. This is very inexpensive insurance that your pump is not overheating.
