Hot to reset my vacuum gauge to zero:
To reset to zero inches of lift, raise rubber top stopper and blow into the back 1/4 Mip connection. (usually with a rubber tipped blow gun off an air compressor)
Then reset rubber stopper.
Please note gauges are usually not freeze thaw stable. Please part an electric space heater on a low heat setting if needed to protect equipment.

Many times a vacuum gauge will not be on zero once received and you will have to acclimate to your elevation (see above.)
