Clean Storm 14835289 Hide A Cord Kit for Rotary Power Wands

Description

Power Wand Hide A Cord Power Cord Kit allows you to run your 50 ft 12-3 power cord inside of your 2" vacuum hose (not provided)

Directions

Two options: Either have the power cord travel all the through the entire 50 ft of vacuum hose (like to plug into your truck mounted carpet cleaning machine on board generator) or follow the instructions below to have it travel only 2/3rds through the vacuum hose to allow the last 15 ft to plug into the customer's wall.

Instructions to travel 2/3rds to plug into a wall outlet: To install cut the male plug off the power cord. Take your provided 50 ft 2" Id vacuum hose and remove the hose cuff off the wand use side.
Insert cut power cord through Hide A Hose cuff all the way leaving one foot of the female cord exposed.
Cut the last section of above 2" ID vacuum hose at the 35 ft from the wand mark.
Feed the cut end of the power cord all the way through the inside of the vacuum hose and thread on the first hide a hose cuff above.
Fee the cut power cord through the second hide a hose cuff and thread onto the 35 ft of vacuum hose.
Take the standard hose cuff and thread on the other end of the cut vacuum hose.
Install the white insert fitting between the two hose cuffs.
Repair the male plug end. (Black wire to gold screw/ white to silver / green on green)

Tips: Lay out both the vacuum hose and the power cord next to each other with your rotary power wand. Make sure you trim off the correct amount of vacuum hose to allow the female end of the power cord to reach the male plug on your power wand. Each brand of machine will require a different amount of swag. Depending on if you are making an extension hose set or a wall plug in set, you will have to decide how close you need the male plug to be at the starting end of your hose cuff (plug into a generator or plug into a wall outlet.)
